The 2006-07 season was the dawn of a new era at Villa Park. The club landed one of the best young managers in the business in Martin O’Neill, while long-standing chairman Doug Ellis stood down to make way for new owner Randy Lerner.Exciting times were ahead as the club entered their 15th consecutive season in the Premiership – and there was a dream start as they remained unbeaten until the end of October. But the manager and fans were under no illusions about what could be achieved. The late appointment of the manager, linked with the change in ownership in September, meant that new additions to the squad had to wait until the January transfer window. But stability was achieved and a statement of intent was made by the manager and owner in the transfer market, with the high profile capture of John Carew and Ashley Young. It was also the 25th anniversary of Villa’s greatest achievement – the 1982 European Cup triumph. The parade of the squad with the cup, as well as Ron Saunders’ return to Villa Park earlier in the season, received great support from the fans.It was a progressive season by the club, culminating in a nine-game unbeaten run which mirrored the great start. There were also new signings, young players coming through the ranks and, inevitably, a salute to past glories.Relive all the best moments from the season with this comprehensive look at Villa’s first season of a new and exciting era.Aston Villa – Proud History, Bright Future.

Quite simply… an afternoon that no self-respecting Evertonian will ever forget. It was a day of enduring images – Elton John’s tears before the game, Andy Gray’s controversial goal during it, and John Bailey’s over-sized spectacles afterwards! But more importantly, it was the day that Everton’s 14-year search for silverware finally ended and the sight of Kevin Ratcliffe, at the age of 23, lifting the most famous trophy in domestic football was a wonderful one. Re-live the match in its entirety as Everton fully lived up to their billing as pre-match favourites at Wembley. The Hornets had their moments, but The Toffees were never going to be denied and the ‘Tartan Terrors’, Graeme Sharp and Andy Gray, wrote their names into Everton folklore with a goal each to bring the Cup back to Goodison for the first time since 1966. Earlier in that 1983-84 season, Howard Kendall had been on the verge of actually losing his job as Everton manager but the Board, to their eternal credit, rode the storm, confident that their man would come good.He did… and this was the day that confirmed, beyond any doubt, that Everton were, once again, a force to be reckoned with. The Toffees went on to even greater achievements after winning the FA Cup in 1984, but don’t they say the first time is the sweetest?May 19th 1984 was the day that Everton Football Club announced to the football world: We are back!

Action movies are a film genre where in the story is largely told through physical action as opposed to dialogue.
Action movies typically involve individual efforts on the part of the hero. While action has long been an element of films, the “Action film” as a genre of its own began to develop in the 1970s. The genre is closely linked with the thriller and adventure film genres but includes comedy action movies, horror action movies, thriller action movies and other top action films amongst the best movies ever.
While action films have traditionally been a reliable source of revenue for movie studios, relatively few action films garner critical praise. Action films have traditionally been aimed at male audiences, from the early teens to the mid-30s, many 90s films and 2000s added female heroines in response to the times, glorifying the strong female archetype.

The 2008/09 season will go down as one of the most dramatic and exciting in Chelsea FCs long and illustrious history. But a slump in form and fortune saw the clubs title aspirations disappear along with manager Luiz Felipe Scolari. The arrival of Guus Hiddink energised the team and revived ambitions of securing a trophy but with the Premier League just out of reach and hearts broken in the Champions League, their perseverance was rewarded with a fantastic win at Wembley in The FA Cup Final ensuring another season of silverware for the mighty Blues.Enjoy all the best action including every goal from every game as well as exclusive interviews with Guus Hiddink, John Terry, Frank Lampard, Jose Boswinga, and Petr Cech in this comprehensive look back at Chelsea FCs 2008/09 season. DVD 2:Chelsea FA cup Final 2009The FA Cup Final 2009 was one of the most eagerly anticipated in recent years. Chelsea were looking to give departing manager Guus Hiddink the prefect send off and to win some silverware after a couple of barrenmyears. Meanwhile, Everton were hoping to win their first trophy since 1995. The match that followed lived up to all expectations. On a sweltering day and with the two sets of fans in good voice the drama started virtually from the first whistle. After only twenty five seconds Louis Saha had put Everton ahead. It was the quickest ever FA Cup Final goal and sent the Everton fans into ecstasy.A shell shocked Chelsea slowly worked their way back into the match and deservedly equalised midway through the match courtesy of a powerful header from Didier Drogba. Chelsea continued to dominate their Merseyside rivals although the Toffees had chances of their own so it came as nom surprise when they took the lead.
